II edição Intercontinental AcademiaOn a meeting held on August 27, the IEA-USP's Scientific Committee for the second edition of the Intercontinental Academia chose three of the seven enrolled candidates in the Brazilian pre-selection.

Those who have been selected will receive an endorsement letter this Friday (28) and have until August 31 to send their complementary documentation to the organizers of the final selection. The institutes for advanced studies of the Bielefeld University (Germany) and of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel) will be the hosts of the second edition of the interinstitutional and interdisciplinary project, which will address the theme Human Dignity in 2016.

The pre-selected names are: Akemi Kamimura, Lucas Amato and Monique Pfau. The candidates that get approved in the final selection will be sponsored by the IEA-USP by having their travel expenses fully or partially covered by the Institute (depending on agreements with the host institutes).
