Logo ICA 4IEA-USP's evaluation committee for the fourth edition of the Intercontinental Academia chose six candidates in a pre-selection after having received applications until March 11.

The pre-selected names are: Alexandre Dias Porto Chiavegatto Filho, Ana Rosa Chagas Cavalcanti, André Fujita, Jackeline Aparecida Ferreira Romio, Marcelo Archanjo José, and Paula Cristina dos Santos. The candidates that get approved in the final selection will be sponsored by the IEA-USP, having their travel expenses fully or partially covered by the Institute (depending on agreements with the host institutes).

Those who have been pre-selected will receive an endorsement letter this Monday (29) and have until March 31 to send their complementary documentation to the organizers of the final selection. The Paris Institute for Advanced Study and the Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (UFMG-IEAT) will be the hosts of the fourth edition of the interinstitutional and interdisciplinary project, which will address the theme "Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence" in 2021 and 2022.

The IEA-USP takes this opportunity to thank all who have applied for the selection process as they have challenged the committee to a final decision due to the high quality of the received profiles. It is still possible to submit an application directly to the organizers and plead for an endorsement arranged by them.
