Renato Luiz Sobral Anelli
Renato Luiz Sobral Anelli graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Catholic University of Campinas (1982), holds a master's degree in History from the State University of Campinas (1990) and a PhD from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (1995). He conducted research at the University School of Architecture in Venice with the support of CNPq in 1994 and 1998. In 2001 he became Associate Professor of the USP's School of Engineering at the São Carlos campus. He is currently a professor of the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism at the São Carlos campus. From 2001 to 2004 he was Municipal Secretary of Transport and Public Service in São Carlos, having coordinated several projects in urban mobility and recovery of water resources. He is currently director of the Lina Bo Bardi Institute. Member of the Architecture and Urbanism Research Group in Brazil since 1995, he conducts research on architecture and modern contemporary urbanism in São Paulo, coordinating two research projects with the support of CNPq: "Dialogues with the Italian architecture in the Modern Architecture Constitution in São Paulo" and "Network Infrastructure as an Urban Strategy (São Paulo from 1960 to 1986)" |
