José Renato de Campos Araújo
Professor at USP's School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH), Araújo was the coordinator of the undergraduate course in Public Policy Management at the eastern campus of USP between 2006 and 2011. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from UNICAMP's Institute of Philosophy and Sciences (IFCH). He is a researcher at the Institute of Economic, Social and Political Studies of São Paulo (IDESP), and an associate researcher at the Population Studies Center (NEPO). He is currently a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Observatory for Public Policy at EACH. He has been working as a university professor in the area of Human Sciences (Sociology, Scientific Methodology and Political Science) since 1994 in several higher education institutions in São Paulo. He is the author of 'Immigration and Football: The Palestra Italia Case,' co-edited by FAPESP and Editora Sumaré. Between April and May 2014, he held the Sérgio Buarque de Holanda Chair at the José Maria Luis Mora Research Institute, based in Mexico City. |
