Sandra Mara Salles
Sandra Mara Salles has a degree in History from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, a specialization in Latin American Studies at the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III, and a master's degree in Social Anthropology and Ethnology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. She is currently the executive director of the Museu Afro Brasil, in São Paulo. She has devoted herself to research in Art History, with emphasis on artistic modernities in Africa, the history of African art exhibitions, and the international circulation of artists from the continent. |
