INTERCONTINENTAL ACADEMIA
From April 17 to April 30, the IEA-USP led the first stage of the Intercontinental Academia, an initiative that fosters a network research and the formation of new leaderships. Organized by the UBIAS network, an international association that brings together 34 institutes of advanced study based in universities of 19 countries, the meeting has brought together young researchers from different nationalities and areas of expertise to develop studies on the subject "time". The programme in São Paulo has also included a discussion about new ways of academia. The second phase of the project will be held next March in Nagoya, being hosted by the Institute for Advanced Research of the Nagoya University.
