Perfil MasculinoXavier Greffe is a Professor of Economics at the University of Paris I, where he chairs the graduate program in arts economy. He is an associate professor at the National Graduate Institute for Public Policies in Tokyo, and an associate professor at the Auckland Institute of Technology in New Zealand. He chairs the national committee for artistic jobs in France. He has published articles and books on arts and media economy, including the latest Economie Globale (Dalloz, 2009) and La politique culturelle en France (La documentation française, 2009). Previously, he has taught at several French and foreign universities, and was general manager for training and learning in the French labor ministry (1990-1994). His research addresses the economy of cultural heritage and the link between culture and development.
